Arithmetic Before Algebra

Students who struggle in Algebra I almost always have arithmetic gaps. This course finds and closes those gaps first — integers, fractions, ratios, percents — before introducing variables. There is no point building algebraic skills on a shaky arithmetic foundation.

Understand the Reason, Not the Rule

Why does a negative times a negative equal a positive? Why do we find a common denominator? Why does cross-multiplication work? Every rule in this course is explained before it is used — so students can reconstruct it later instead of hoping to remember it.

Final Exam Simulation

The capstone is a comprehensive review of all 7 units. Every missed problem gets a written correction — not just the right answer, but the reasoning that should have been applied.

Gap Review
Two weakest units revisited before the exam simulation.
Timed Final Exam
Full-length, independent, same conditions as a real exam.
Written Corrections
Every missed problem corrected with reasoning — not just the right answer.
Algebra I Readiness Review
A final session on what Algebra I will demand from day one.
